[Bismillahnews.in-23-11-15-New Delhi-Sohail Siddiqui] In a big set back to Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav , their trusted face of Samajwadi Party in Deoband the powerful seat of Muslim opinion making in India joined Congress party at the hands of Mr.Rahul Gandhi the Gandhi scion and Vice president of AICC[I].Mr. Mavia Ali along with Imran Masood had met Mr.Rahul Gandhi few days back at his residence, where Mr.Gandhi had assured him of a Congress ticket to contest bye election from Saharanpur assembly seat , post the death of Samajwadi MLA, who was Mavia Ali’s protege but had fallen out lately till his death due to cancer.Speaking to this writer Mavia Ali till yesterday was pointing towards the picture of Mulayam Singh Yadav still donning his sitting room as his way of politics.

Mr.Rahul Gandhi who is on a padhyatra for farmers in Saharanpur would also be joined by Mavia Ali and his supporters who plan to join the padhyatra in large numbers as Mr.Mavia Ali and his supporters were busy last night organizing supporters for the Padhyatra rally, an estimated 50 plus SUV’s would be driving the supporters from Deoband to rally venue in Saharanpur.

Nationally this is an important ice-breaking event in Congresses and Muslims of UP’s relation as this might be the beginning of the return of Muslims back to the Congress fold after 1984 almost after three decades when Muslims sided for parties like BSP and SP.

Mr.Mavia Ali is an active and humble political worker who works with a low profile and would definitely be a personal asset in the Rahul team on mission to bring back minorities back in Congress fold, keeping in view the approaching UP elections .
