[Bismillahnews.in-25-09-15-New Delhi-Sohail Siddiqui] Sometimes I feel specially gifted that having had education in English medium being unable to write Urdu but read it  ASWT used me to established post Independence’s largest circulated Urdu weekly Newspaper as its editor,printer,publisher and proprietor, which crossed a hundred thousand copies circulation mark with in four issues of its launch in 1990.

The reason of it success being that my weekly Urdu Newspaper "Hamara Qadam" New Delhi used the most modern printing technique, quality newsprint ever used by any Urdu publication.It rather was even better in production from English and Hindi weeklies then published.With Multi-colored front - back this broad-sheet with truthful professional journalism had rocked the national with its straight hard hitting stories.

Most of the present breed of Urdu journalists have been in their careers one time or the other have been associated with Urdu Weekly "Hamara Qadam".[1990-92].The weekly was forced closed post my accident and conspiracy to silence Muslim independent Urdu press which had been revived by this Newspaper and was leading the cause openly with its bold coverage and fierce writings against the governments.

In an article[ http://www.roznamasahara.com/Details.aspx?id=50527&boxid=43434878 ] in Urdu Roznama Rashtriya Sahara today on 25-09-15 the eid ul azha day on page 8 a professor writing on the 200 years of Urdu Journalism has not mentioned the most important Urdu Weekly "Hamara Qadam" a Newspaper published from New Delhi in the period of 1990-2015 which broke all records in circulation and quality of production and revived fierce open Urdu writings for which Urdu is known.The article also omits the mentioning of another mile stone in Urdu journalism’s history Urdu Daily Quami Awaaz , with out mentioning the roles of Quami Awaaz,Daily Pratap and Faisal Jadeed Urdu Journalism’s history cannot be written. The writer has not mentioned sub-continents most popular milestones in Urdu publications from India in last 50 years still going strong Huma Urdu Digest and Huda Islami Digest from New Delhi and more importantly one of the most important Urdu publication of Urdu world Shama has not been mentioned.Can omission of role of Urdu UNI service be denied in modern day survival of Urdu dailies, then why was its role not even discussed in the article ?.The writer has mentioned obscure publications and lacks research in his writing and has deliberately tried to conceal facts from the Urdu readers…why ?

The National Council for promotion of Urdu language is behind the publication of the subject as it is planning to rewrite the history of Urdu Journalism’s 200 years according to few fascists nominees in the Urdu council.Can this be allowed ? Inshaallah a nation wide agitation would be launched against this attempt to change Urdu journalism’s historical facts to suit the fascist government.These corporate hawks of fascist forces have found refuge in Urdu council on recommendations from Inresh Kumar of RSS and hence are saffronizing the history of Urdu Journalism by omitting the important pillars of Urdu and Muslim Journalism.
